Hi! I'm Şevval, a Turkish Language and Literature teacher. I also hold a certificate in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language. I'm from İstanbul and currently live here. I'm 26 years old.
I'm aware of how challenging the process of learning a language can be. I'm working on my English and trying to learn Russian.
In my addition to my teaching career, I enjoy taking care of plants, reading books, doing amateur sketches and drawings and cooking. Trying dishes from different cultures is one of my biggest hobbies! Maybe you could share some traditional recipes from your culture with me :) That would make me really happy!Me as a Teacher
I'm a teacher who's both disciplined and kind, always patient and smiling with my students. I truly believe that steady effort and determination lead to success. I keep track of each student's progress and design lessons that fit their needs. I love giving homework because I think it really helps student remember and practice what they've learned.My lessons & teaching style
In my lessons, i prepare materials tailored to my students interests and needs. I develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills simultaneously. I make learning permanent and enjoyable by using visuals, videos, games, and texts. I only speak Turkish during the lessons. This method enables the student to learn the language in a natural way. After lesson, I provide homework or review exercises to reinforce what has been learned. My goal is for my students to able to use the language actively and speak freely. I generally work with teenagers over the age of 15 and adult learners.My teaching material

My first lesson with Şevval was very interesting and engaging. I had the chance to speak a lot during the class, and even though I made mistakes, I still felt comfortable. She explained that she uses only Turkish in her lessons, but her excellent English makes communication easy when needed. I truly appreciate the comprehensive teaching method she applies, which makes learning both effective and enjoyable.
