My name is Filip and Swedish is my native language. I am interested in linguistics, history, literature, sports and arts. Having studied Russian at university, and currently learning Hungarian by myself (aiming to begin learning German and Polish), I understand how frustrating and at the same time rewarding language learning can be. Plus, learning a language gives us those sweet and unbearable bragging rights for life :)Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching Swedish for more than two years and I would describe myself as a fun, engaging and supportive tutor. Having studied languages at university, I have a good understanding of what is important if you want to become confident in a language. I do believe that the approach to language learning is that it should be as fun, motivating and as supportive as possible. So, basically the opposite of my previous career as a recruiter :) My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is quite diverse and is not only dependent on your fluency level or general grasp of the language, but also your goals, interests and preferences. Be it, communicative language teaching with a focus on grammar and vocabulary, or a direct method with a focus on around conversation. Your goals and preferences are naturally always what is the most important.My teaching material

Tack för ett väldigt intressant och avslappnat samtal! Filipp tar hänsyn till elevens intressen och ställer frågor som får eleven att vilja prata samt fortsätter konversationen på ett naturligt sätt.

Tack för lektionen. Philip ställer rätt frågor, han pratar inte snabbt. Men låt oss prata snabbare nästa gång:)). Jag rekommenderar klasser med honom till alla.

Filip was fantastic during my first lesson with him. I did some Swedish reading practice and he was very encouraging and helpful. The resources that he provided for me to help me are excellent. It was also good to speak on a personal level about sports! Thanks very much Filip and I'm looking forward to the next lesson with you. I highly recommend Filip!
