Certified ESL & NT2 teacher with international experience across all ages Hi! I’m a certified Dutch and English teacher from the Netherlands, passionate about travel, cultures and languages. When I’m not working, I'm most likely drawing, making music, reading or exploring somewhere outdoors; I also love anything creative! I studied to become an international primary school teacher and have my Dutch teaching qualification for primary schools as well. I taught abroad in both international and Dutch primary schools during and after my studies. I then obtained my TEFL certification in Peru, and my certification for Dutch as a second language. I've now spent over a year teaching my native language to teenagers and adults immigrating into the Netherlands! I enjoy creating interactive lessons and believe languages are best learned by immersion & active engagement. Students learn best through realistic situations and getting a lot of time to talk. I value creating a bond with my students and learning about them as they learn from me, so I'm always looking for new ways to meet personal learning needs and like to select my materials based off of personal learning goals as well.
