Hi, everyone. My name is Niko. I am from Japan. I have lived in NY for 17 years in total. I have two bachelor's degrees in Communications and Linguistics. After college, I got a job in the banking industry in NYC. Now I am back in Tokyo. As I love meeting new people and enjoy teaching Japanese & English, I decided to become a tutor. I have had the experience of struggling to communicate with other people when I first moved to the US, and I know how hard it is to learn English. So here I am, hoping to help you learn to speak English in a fun way! I hope to see you in the lesson! I have been teaching English online for almost 2 years and have had the pleasure of working with over 700 lessons from diverse backgrounds. My journey has taken me from the bustling streets of Tokyo to New York City in the United States, and I have had the unique opportunity to work in both countries. These experiences have enriched my understanding of different cultures, and I love to share these insights during our lessons. My teaching style is interesting and fun, with a strong focus on conversation and pronunciation. I believe that engaging, enjoyable lessons are the key to effective learning.
