Hi, I’m Keon from Los Angeles—a TEFL-certified English tutor, filmmaker, and storyteller. I specialize in helping learners speak confidently through creative, dynamic methods like storytelling and real-life conversation. Having learned French, Turkish, and Farsi myself, I understand the challenges of language acquisition and tailor lessons to make them engaging and effective. Me as a Teacher

I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor with a passion for storytelling and creative education. I hold a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting and film, which has equipped me with unique insights into language and communication. Although I’m new to formal teaching, my TEFL certification ensures that I’m well-prepared to provide effective and engaging lessons.

I believe in a communicative, student-centered approach. My lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, focusing on real-life communication and practical language use. I incorporate storytelling techniques to make lessons more dynamic and memorable, helping students build confidence and fluency in a supportive environment. My background in creative writing, philosophy and filmmaking allows me to help students with advanced language skills, including writing, storytelling, and critical thinking. I’m also fluent in Farsi as well as learning Turkish and French, which gives me a deeper understanding of language acquisition from a learner’s perspective.
