Matteo Comprehensible Input *I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS FOR THE TIME BEING* What kind of tutor am I? I'm not a language-learning guru who can master and teach a new language from scratch in just a couple of weeks — far from it! I've studied many languages myself, and I'm still on the journey. Language learning, for me, is a never-ending process. Because of that, I can guide you through the process and help you avoid wasting countless hours on activities that don't actually lead to real language acquisition. In my lessons, I focus on a manageable amount of vocabulary at first, then work with you to actively retrieve it by building sentences and creating examples together. With every student, I share a Google Doc where we track our progress, one lesson at a time. What to expect from my lessons? You can expect a supportive and engaging environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes. My lessons are based on the Comprehensible Input Hypothesis, and therefore focus primarily on listening and reading skills in the beginning, followed by lessons centered on real communication. At the end of each lesson, a Google Doc will be updated with the new vocabulary and grammar points we covered.

Grazie per la lezione di oggi. È stato molto utile approfondire il lessico specifico di politica e sociologia e analizzare le varie sfumature concettuali. Il livello della discussione era esattamente quello che cercavo. Alla prossima!

Grazie mille per la lezione di oggi! È stato davvero interessante discutere dei problemi dell'umanità e delle nostre prospettive di sviluppo futuro. Ho apprezzato molto il modo in cui abbiamo affrontato questi argomenti così complessi e stimolanti. A presto per la prossima lezione!

Excellent video lesson. I love doing free conversation with Matteo because I feel engaged the whole time and enjoy all the different topics we talk about - from the weather to history to the World Cup. Matteo is very effective in making the language learning process really come to life by delivering lessons and topics that are relevant, engaging and fun!
