I enjoy and value working with Melina very, very much. She creates a relaxing and highly effective environment to practice speaking Swedish, and she is a joy to work with and get to know. I look forward to working with her as I reach my goal of being fluent in Swedish!

I love lessons with Mel. When I want to just practice conversations, she's ready to go wild ranging into any topic. When I need to understand some concepts, she's switching to a super structured teacher mode.

Omg, Mel is such a patient and yet enthusiastic teacher in our weekly Swedish conversation class! Always on time, brings great vibes to each lesson, very helpful with vocabulary and grammar tips. Her experience abroad and multiple languages she has studied gives her a global perspective and language learning sensibilities. Her location in N Sweden gives a new perspective on life in this country, rather than just the Stockholm point of view. Living in N Sweden myself, I appreciate this. On top of it all Mel is just plain fun. It's a bright point every week when we meet and I then fumble through Swedish with nothing but encouragement from her. Absolutely my favorite language teacher ever.
