Hello, I was born and raised in Korea and naturally became accustomed to Korean, and at the same time, I learned English and Japanese and learned the joy of multilingual communication. As I experienced deeper connection with people through language, I naturally became interested in teaching Korean to foreigners. Especially, it was very rewarding when I talked with my foreign friends in Korean and saw them grow and learn Korean through me. I aim for a class that naturally learns the language by having conversations with each other, not a class that is stereotyped. I want to make a class where I can approach comfortably like a friend and sometimes even talk about cultural backgrounds together.Me as a Teacher
Although I have no experience teaching at an official educational institution, I have gained experience in transferring knowledge and teaching it to someone in a variety of informal settings. Since I was young, I have become accustomed to teaching my younger brother the piano, helping my friends study, and naturally 'teaching'. Especially when a foreign friend wanted to challenge for the Korean proficiency test, I conducted a study by explaining words, grammar, and pronunciation according to his language level, and eventually he was able to get the desired grade. In the process, I was very impressed that what I explained was clearly conveyed to the other person and led to practical results.My lessons & teaching style
The lecture I am aiming for is 'a friendly and practical class'. Since language is a vivid communication tool that cannot be learned only by books, I try to organize the class around interaction rather than one-way. The goal is to introduce natural expressions such as newly coined words, abbreviations, and accents, focusing on everyday conversations, and to help students use them in real life. In addition, I plan to flexibly adjust the contents of the class according to the student's level and interests, and to actively utilize materials using real-life examples and popular culture so as not to be bored.
