An optimistic, enthusiastic and highly motivated person who enjoys working with other people as part of a team, and also dealing directly with groups and the general public. This has led me to undertake all sorts of jobs where social skills are essential, and finally focusing in helping others to develop their full potential through my teaching degree and broad experience tutoring to all levels: primary and secondary schools, university and community. My work experience is in the fields of education, international project coordination and scientific research. Working for many years in Wales, I have been described as a very responsible, approachable and bright teacher. Due to my experience in schools and university, I am able to understand adjustments required by different year groups. At Bangor University I've been teaching Spanish as part of the degree, and to community learners, as well as coordinating projects boosting GCSE/A-level uptake. Thanks to my hard work and natural abilities for languages, I have been highly regarded by my pupils, mentees and colleagues at Bangor University and the consortium of education in north Wales (GwE). I have a broad experience teaching both Catalan and Spanish, through the medium of English and Welsh.
