Ella is a passionate, encouraging and friendly teacher. From the very first class we established a great relationship and she quickly assessed my previous Chinese knowledge and has been patient to help me remember what I have forgotten. It’s been about a 10 year gap since I last studied Chinese. Ella is always present on time for our classes, gives me vocabulary to study and corrects my pronunciation for the tones. She explains any confusions I have in English. My highlights of the class is Ella’s excitement when I pronounce a word correctly or I say a sentence structure correct. I’ve felt comfortable and free to try and say sentences outside of what we have learned and she quickly helps me fill in my missing vocabulary. She sends me all the resources I ask for promptly and we review past concepts at the start of class. I am confident that Ella can help me remember what I forgot and progress in my Chinese studies. Ella loves teaching and you can feel that during the class! 谢谢老师!
