I’m a French teacher with 15+ years’ experience. Originally from France, I’ve lived in Scotland for 16 years.
I teach teenagers (15+) and adults from beginner to advanced. I can explain clearly in English when needed, but focus on using French as much as possible.
Lessons are structured and personalised around your level and goals, linking grammar, vocabulary, and all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing). Listening and writing exercises are usually given as homework so the lesson time can be used for active language output.
Lessons include varied activities, regular review, and clear explanations. I take notes during class using either a Google Doc or a Word document and send the class notes, the materials used during the lesson and optional homework after each lesson.
The pace is flexible — we spend extra time on areas you find challenging and move faster when you’re ready, making every lesson personalised.
Types of lessons available:
- Leçons de français : structured, progressive lessons based on various themes.
- Topic-based conversation : various materials are used to encourage you to speak, with the full focus on the lesson being on speaking.
- Trial Lesson
- Amélioration des compétences d'écriture : exercises and feedback designed to help you improve your writing skills.
