I am a Japanese teacher with 20 years of experience.
I run a private tutoring school where I teach many students one by one.
I have worked with children who have overseas backgrounds, helping them learn Japanese in a way that fits their needs.
I also have experience teaching children with learning difficulties, and I am comfortable supporting their learning.
My lessons are easy to understand and fun, because I believe enjoying learning is very important.
I try my best to help every student improve their Japanese skills step by step.

Mayumi is really a good teacher. She is so patient and helpful. My daughter has just come to Japan and couldn't say a word. She is helping her with daily words and useful expressions in school. My mommy and I really enjoy this teacher! She's patient and beyond sweet! I love taking her classes and she makes sure that I pronounce what I'm learning correctly. My mom and I love that she reviews over what I have learned and still teaches new material after we do our review. So all of the material that she teaches me sticks. I review and practice the material that she provides me throughout the week as well before my next class. She is a wonderful teacher and she's a native to Japan!
