I'm mostly looking for speaking/conversation practice so that's what most of the content of the lessons are like. Enjoyable conversations about various interesting topics. Challenging, whilst giving a sense of mastery. Patient even when I get stuck which allows me to get better at formulating sentences, whilst also helping out if I need it. Very chill lessons, no pressure. Feels more like a casual conversation. You should try it out, very recommended :)

No worries I think it’s hard to find a place to start for someone like me! The new vocab was very helpful, and perhaps next week we could start with the textbook? What do you think?

Awesome lessons! Asami-sensei is very conversational and engaging which makes learning enjoyable and effective. I've completed 3 full lessons so far and she’s already helped me grasp new grammar rules, learn useful verbs and expand my vocabulary. Little by little i feel more ready to take on the JLPT exam. Highly recommended for learners at any level!

I've had 2 lessons with Asami thus far and both have been super enjoyable with great learning experiences. As I was looking to get more used to listening/speaking, the time was mainly spent on this. She's very patient, and the conversations and topics were great for getting some real listening and speaking practice. The level was fitted perfectly to be challenging whilst also giving a feeling of mastery. Can definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to improve their Japanese.
