Hi! I’m Dave, and I’m excited to be your teacher. I’ve been teaching English for over 6 years and love helping students build their skills in a fun and relaxed way. I’m here to support you, so let’s make learning enjoyable and productive.Me as a Teacher
I graduated with honors in Secondary Education, majoring in English. I earned a 120-hour TEFL certification after passing the licensure exam. With over 6 years of experience teaching English to foreign students, I’ve worked with learners at all levels, from beginners to advanced, and of all ages, including teenagers and adults. I also had the opportunity to teach both one-on-one and group classes at MONOL International Education Institute for a year.My lessons & teaching style
I offer relaxed and enjoyable conversational classes, using student-focused materials to keep things fun. I understand that learning English can be tough, so I create a comfortable environment where you can practice speaking as much as possible. I’ll provide helpful corrections on your sentences and pronunciation, along with vocabulary suggestions to improve your skills. 2018 - 2019
English Classroom TeacherI taught one on one reading and group classes for speaking in a classroom setup. I taught students coming from Taiwan, China, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and a few from Spain. We had fun and collaborative classes as we exchange conversation in an interactive way.
2019 - 2021
Online English TeacherThis was my first ever experience teaching online. We catered to Korean adults working in government sectors in South Korea. We had book-based conversational classes.
2021 - 2024
Online Business English TrainerWe catered to Japanese teenagers to adults who were interested in learning Business English and be engaged in casual conversations.
