Taesoo

Taesoo is a pleasure to have class with. He started class with a conversation about what we did this past week. He asks questions to encourage you to elaborate, and also talks about his own thoughts, which helps test your ability to understand and make meaningful responses to keep the conversation going. During the second part of the lesson, he checked some work that I had done before class: grammar practice and a writing excerpt. He corrected the unnatural sentences, explaining his corrections while showing me better methods to express my thoughts. We finished the class by analyzing some webtoon excerpts that I was confused about. It was a lot of fun. Taesoo has a very kind and friendly personality that helps me feel at ease in class. Thanks to him I feel confident to speak in class even when I make mistakes. Each correction is helpful and kind. You won’t regret having class with him 🥳

Taesoo in every class is like a master. I know already to read Korean letters and now we just started diving into greetings, meeting etc. He is very professional! I SUGGEST HIM 100%!!!! 감사합니다 Taesoo!!

Taesoo does a great job at teaching. The materials he has prepared are really good & in-depth. I especially like option of doing homework as it really makes me hold myself accountable. He's also very personable and encouraging! Very eager to answer questions! :) I highly recommend for those wanting to learn grammar points and structures! He speaks slowly and clearly. I came from an awkward position as I already know a lot of content, but because I stopped studying for a few years I'm kind of all over the place. He's adapted to this really well and doesn't drag me through things I already know nor does he try to accelerate me to a higher level than I'm comfortable with. Currently, I'm mostly refamiliarising myself with some basic concepts, and I'm sure Taesoo will do a great job at introducing new concepts when I get to that point!

Wow this was an excellent and helpful lesson. I had such a hard time learning the Korean alphabet by myself, and I managed to learn it with his help during the lesson, and even to read some words. He is patient, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend him!

Taesoo is a wonderful instructor who is very patient with my very beginner level Korean. The materials he provided and pace he teaches at are very suitable for my level and I look forward to working with him each week. He is enjoyable to learn from and I can recommend choosing him as your Korean teacher.
