My name is Cassie. I am from the USA, but I have been living in Spain for the past 10 years, teaching English and studying Psychology and Neuroscience. My mom was an English teacher, and made sure I was proficient in grammar. :) I have worked multiple jobs in mental health as a behavioral therapist with autistic children, psychometry, a neurofeedback technician, and most recently a cognitive rehabilitation coach. I love being outside and in nature. I also love traveling and meeting like minded people and learning all about different cultures. I am at a high intermediate level of Spanish, so this could be very helpful for Spanish students, if they need a little more explanation in Spanish. I am TESOL certified and have taught more than 5,404 classes with over 1,931 students. I am a very patient and calm teacher. I am very supportive and encouraging when it comes to learning, because I too have had to endure the struggle of learning another language, and understand the frustrations and confusions that come along with it. I always do my best to talk loudly and annunciate to really help you learn the pronunciation of words. I work with conversation, grammar, Cambridge tests, business and work related English (ex: interview practice). I am very adaptable, and because of my experience working with a wide variety of people, I am very empathetic and understanding at identifying people's areas of struggle and adapting to each person to really support and deliver a personalized class.
