Karla González

As a beginner Spanish student, I was specifically looking for someone with whom I could practise speaking. Karla was an excellent find for me. I especially appreciate how patiently she waits for me as I struggle to come up with the word I need in the conversation we are having. I am still very much at the struggling stage, and she truly has so much patience! She is kind and encouraging. I would definitely recommend her.

Karla is such a great teacher! I really look forward to our lessons together because I know I will always learn something that I didn't know. She is extremely patient and kind, and I feel like I can show up, make mistakes, and not be self-conscious about where I am at in my language journey. Lastly, she is always prepared...and I mean prepared with a capital P. At first, I assumed she had content ready to reuse across multiple students, but then I realized that it is customized for me and each of our lessons. If I send her something between classes, she will incorporate that into my lesson plan. Seriously, if you are reading this and looking for a teacher, you should schedule something with Karla. She is amazing.

I’m really enjoying my classes with Karla. She makes learning Spanish feel so much easier and more enjoyable. She teaches at a friendly, steady pace that works perfectly for me, and she’s always on time and prepared. I also appreciate that she provides helpful materials for me to study on my own between classes. Overall, her lessons are making my learning experience both fun and effective.
