👋 Shalom! I’m Guy, an Israeli-Swiss Hebrew tutor.
🔹 I was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, and currently I am living in Basel, Switzerland.
🔸 I hold a bachelor degree in Jazz Performance.
🔹 I have 3 years of experience as a teacher, working with learners of all ages.
🔸 I created a free flashcard app to turbocharge my student's vocabulary!
On a more personal level:
🔹 I enjoyed traveling, and have been to over 30 countries.
🔸 In additional to my teaching/musician career, I also have experience in computer science.
🔹 Among my hobbies you can find playing basketball, skiing, watching movies, and hiking.
🔸 I also spent 1 year living in the Netherlands, learning jazz composition.Me as a Teacher
🔸 I specialize in conversational Hebrew for intermediate-advanced learners (B1+).
🔹 My lessons are centered around conversations and translations, along with some targeted exercises.
🔸 My goal is to help learners improve their Hebrew while keeping the learning process fun and engaging

In my lessons, we’ll choose the approach that suits you best.
After choosing if your goal is more formal/casual Hebrew speaking, we can have conversations on a variety of topics, learn new vocabulary and make corrections as we go.
We can also translate texts, like songs or other materials, from Hebrew to English or the other way around, or focus on specific topics with targeted exercises to sharpen your skills.
I also created my own (free-to-use) flashcard app that I share with my students, to help you memorize vocabulary more efficiently.My teaching material
