Certified Ulpan Teacher | Hebrew for Life in Israel & Real Fluency Shalom! I'm Doron, a certified Hebrew teacher from Tel Aviv. I teach in an ulpan and privately online, currently with more than 15 students, one-on-one and in small groups. I'm also a journalist and content editor — two decades in Israeli media, including at Walla, one of the biggest news sites in Israel. Most of my students are new immigrants building a life here in Hebrew, learners abroad starting from zero, and intermediate speakers who understand plenty but freeze the moment they have to answer. My lessons are conversation-first. We talk about whatever interests you — your work, the news, your family — and I let you finish your thought before handing you the correction, the missing word and the rule behind it. Grammar and tenses come in when they're needed, so you understand why Hebrew works the way it does instead of repeating phrases. Because I write and edit for a living, I can also take you beyond speaking: reading real Israeli texts, writing, and editing your own — an email, a CV, a message you're nervous about sending. Relaxed atmosphere, and no mistake annoys me. Mistakes are the material of the lesson. Tell me what you need Hebrew for, and I'll build the lessons around it.
