Hi, my name is Leslie. I am a native English speaker of British decent and live in sunny South Africa.
I worked in the hospitality and catering industry for many years when an amazing opportunity came knocking which I embraced and found myself in working in Asia, travelling from city to city and country to country as a marketing executive for many years where communication was the key to success. I love travelling, meeting new people, learning new languages and experiencing new cultures. At home I enjoy being involved in community projects, cooking and the outdoors.Me as a Teacher
My love for teaching became apparent when I was working overseas and being the only English speaker everybody looked at for advice and guidance, and specially in a foreign country where most of the people did not speak, read or understand English. I studied to be an English teacher and received my 120Hour TEFL certificate and for the past couple of years I have been tutoring and doing conversational English with students from all over the world. I am easy going, approachable and very patient. I have tutored students from Thailand, China and Vietnam.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are usually topic and conversational based in a very relaxed atmosphere and lessons are always filled with fun and laughter. I like to ensure my students understand the lessons by using visual aids while practicing grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.My teaching material

Great lesson with Leslie ! I learnt so much during the class, he's very good at explaining definitions of words and idioms, apart of that he's very easy going, funny and patient teacher. Highly recommend!!!! Thank you Leslie!!! 😊
