Hi, I’m Romana, a Czech native from Prague, and I’m here to help you master the Czech language! I grew up bilingual, I speak Czech and Slovak, and started learning English when I was just 2 years old. I’m also learning Spanish, Italian, and French because I love connecting with people from different cultures.
I’ve traveled to over 50 countries, lived in 6 including the Czech Republic, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Hungary, Spain and Thailand. During my travels, I realized how difficult it is to connect with locals without knowing the local language. That’s why I want to help all of you who are interested in or already living in the Czech Republic.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I found my passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring others while coaching gymnastics. I enjoy working with kids, teenagers, and young adults, focusing not only on the subject matter but also on being a mentor and offering support to help you grow. My teaching experience includes English, Czech, Mathematics, and Economics, as well as guiding people in building healthy habits and achieving fitness goals.My lessons & teaching style
My Czech lessons focus on conversation, and I like to make them fun and highly individualized. We’ll improve your level by learning about topics that genuinely interest you, so you can stay motivated and enjoy the process. It doesn’t matter if your goal is to learn Czech to order in a restaurant, ask for directions, prepare for an exam, or improve your skills for work. This was a great first lesson. Although I'm a beginner Romana was able to adjust her speaking style so that the lesson was taught almost all in Czech and I could follow without problems. The lesson focused on conversation and she taught me useful expressions to introduce myself and talk about my daily life. I plan to continue taking lessons with her.
