It was my first lesson with Mayu Sensei today, and it was so much fun! I love that we could talk about various topics, had a lot in common and learned a lot of new words and was able to review lots of words that I learned but never actually used before. It was a very helpful and fun lesson. :) Thank You!

My favorite teacher on iTalki ٩(＾◡＾)۶, いちばん!

Mayu is always energetic and friendly. She provides great feedback on my Japanese and will point out grammatical and vocabulary errors for correction.

I enjoyed the lesson. I took the trial lesson and Mayu-sensei asked me about what I hoped to achieve in the lessons. I wanted to practice conversation, so the rest of the lesson was free talk lesson and Mayu-sensei kept the conversation flowing, asking lots of questions while correcting grammar mistakes I made and helping me find the right vocabulary words when I didn't know them.

Mayu is an amazing Japanese teacher! She’s incredibly kind and patient, and every lesson covers different topics, which has really helped improve my spoken Japanese. She uses thoughtful questions and examples to help me express myself more naturally, and whenever I get stuck, she always knows exactly the right word to prompt me with. I’m so happy I chose Mayu as my teacher — she’s truly wonderful, and I’m excited to keep learning more Japanese with her!
