About Me

안녕하세요, 여러분! My name is Jinju Kim and I am from South Korea. The reason why I've been teaching for over 10 years on this platform is that I have so much fun meeting people from all over the world talking about different cultures, daily life, personal stories, anything in general! I am optimistic, open-minded, sympathetic, and passionate, but sometimes I get a little too hyped for silly things haha! Although I have no social media accounts except for italki, I enjoy memes and internet cultures. I am also interested in the economy, cryptocurrencies, technology, metal/hardcore music, Jazz, etc. I hope to meet more interesting people here and that I can help them reach their goals. *Notice: I do not offer group lessons* I have 10 years of teaching experience on Italki and 2 years of teaching experience outside this platform. Hence I have plentiful teaching experience for those who are both beginner and advanced level students. I like to explain as concisely as possible with real-life examples. I am not a strict teacher but I do make sure to give a cyber slap to those who didn't do their homework (just kidding). Instead, I try my best to have fun during the lesson as I know how hard it is to study a foreign language.
