Hello! My name is Angela, your next Korean teacher. Korean is my mother tongue, I also speak English and Mandarin Chinese. My hobbies are cooking, movies, art, and music. After university, I was a high school teacher in Seoul. After acquiring my master’s and PhD in Nanjing, China, I was a professor at several universities there. Lastly, I also taught Korean in an international school. I have experience with a wide range of students, from young students to adults. 안녕하세요? 한국어 전문강사 안젤라입니다. 한국어는 제 모국어이고 영어와 중국어도 가능합니다. 요리,여행, 영화, 미술, 음악 등 다양한 분야에 관심이 많습니다. 대학 졸업 후 서울에서 고등학교 교사로 재직하였고 중국 남경대학교 대학원에서 석사 박사 학위를 취득하였고 중국 남경 소재 대학들과 국제학교에서 한국어 강의를 하였습니다. 중고등학생부터 일반인에 이르기까지 다양한 연령대의 학생들을 지도해왔습니다.

Me as a Teacher

1. After graduating from university, I was a high school Chinese / Traditional Chinese Character / Korean teacher (1993 – 2003) 2. I taught Korean at several universities in Nanjing, China (2003 – 2015) 3. I taught Korean at several universities in DaeJeon, Korea (2016 – 2024) 1. 대학 졸업 후 서울 소재 고등학교에서 중국어/ 한문/ 국어 교사로 재직하였습니다. ( 중국어 한문 국어 중등교사 자격증 소지) (1993 ~2003) 2. 중국 남경 소재 다수 대학과 국제학교에서 한국어를 강의하였습니다. (2003~2015) 3. 한국 대전 소재 다수의 대학에서 중국어 강사로 재직하였습니다. (2016~2024)

My lessons & teaching style

The lessons are customized for each student; the material will be fine-tuned based on the student’s strengths and weaknesses. Depending on the student’s goals and needs, the lessons will be tailored to not only be enjoyable but also memorable. The lessons will be catered towards the student’s goals and interests. The student will gain the ability to use phrases / words directly in real life, and most importantly, the student will get sufficient speaking and listening practice. 학생 개개인의 고유한 특성을 파악하여 맞춤형 수업을 진행합니다. 학생의 목표와 수준에 따라 쉽고 재미있게 익히도록 합니다. 문형을 익혀 일상생활에서 바로 사용할 수 있도록 충분한 활용 연습을 돕습니다. 학생의 관심분야를 화제로 하여 흥미롭게 배울 수 있도록 합니다.
