Jambo! I’m Zilpah from Kenya—a TEFL-certified tutor passionate about making English learning lively and culturally rich. My teaching journey started in May 2021, when I volunteered to teach English in my local primary school. I started by teaching children below the age of 12. The subjects I taught included Beginner English, Conversation English, Grammar, Writing and Homework. In 2024, I got my TEFL certificate and joined a few online teaching platforms. My work includes lesson planning, content delivery, assisting with homework and sometimes having content based conversations.My lessons & teaching style
STUDENT-CENTERED APPROACH- I tailor the lessons to the students preference because they each have unique needs and goals.
INTERACTIVE AND ENGAGING- My lessons incorporate interactive activities like role- playing, games, discussions and real-life scenarios to make learning fun and practical.

I had great experience.
She is very soft and understand, so I could relax.
I didn't know about Kenya, but she told me her country.
I was so interesting and fun.
And,She taught me to listen to English in everyday life, not from a textbook.It was so important for me.
I want to take her lesson again.
