Living in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic

Professional Czech teacher with over 9 years of teaching experience Native Czech speaker from Hradec Králové, I specialize in helping foreigners dive into Czech language and culture. My background in teaching English and Russian evolved into a passion for guiding students through Czech—whether for travel, exams, or daily life. When not teaching, I explore global cuisines, unwind with yoga, and enjoy art and music—all inspirations for my personalized lessons. Learn Czech in a relaxed atmosphere and start speaking with confidence from the very first lesson. As an experienced teacher with a degree from Hradec Králové University, I have taught in companies, evening courses, and individual sessions. Today I focus on one-to-one online lessons, which allows me to fully adapt to your goals and learning pace. My lessons are made-to-measure. I work with textbooks and authentic materials like videos, stories, or real-life leaflets. I love using roleplay - spontaneous dialogues to improve your fluency and make grammar fun. Whether you need preparation for exams (A1–C1), basic phrases for travel, or small talk with friends and colleagues, you can count on me!

Iva has done an excellent job in getting me prepared for the A2 Czech language exam for permenant residency. She always come prepared and is very organized. I would highly recommend her not only for exam preparation but also for learning the fundamentals of Czech grammar and conversation.
