As a teacher, I always strive to stay ahead by keeping my finger on the pulse of new methodologies and educational literature. Continuous learning is an essential part of my approach, allowing me to adapt and bring fresh perspectives to my lessons.I genuinely enjoy working with students of all ages, finding it both rewarding and inspiring. Each group brings its unique energy and challenges, which pushes me to be creative and flexible. My approach is built on clarity and practicality—I love explaining grammar in simple, accessible terms that make it easy for students to understand and apply. Beyond just learning rules, I ensure that new phrases and vocabulary are actively practiced in conversations during the lesson, helping students internalize them naturally.To keep lessons dynamic and fun, I incorporate quizzes, competitions, and even creative activities like quests. Jenny Laoshi/Professor is amazing, she can share her experience learning Chinese from a Western language system. I think it is important to have different types of Chinese professors, to learn differently, and the importance of tonality, since the Chinese language emphasizes tonality and not conjugation.
