Me as a Teacher
Hi again! 😊
I’m Sowod, your future Dari teacher and hopefully, your language buddy too! I'm originally from Afghanistan and Dari is my native language. I love meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them discover how beautiful and expressive Dari can be.
I’m super friendly, easygoing, and always here to support you — whether you're nervous about speaking or just getting started. You're never alone in this journey!
My lessons & teaching style
My lessons feel more like a relaxed conversation with a friend — not a boring classroom! 😄
We’ll talk about topics you’re interested in, learn useful words and phrases, and practice speaking in a way that feels natural and fun.
Every lesson is:
✔️ Flexible and based on your goals
✔️ Focused on real-life speaking
✔️ Encouraging and stress-free
✔️ With bits of Afghan culture along the way!
If you’re looking for a friendly teacher who’ll make learning Dari fun and meaningful, I’d love to be part of your journey. Let’s start chatting in Dari soon! 💬✨

It took me 10 days to actually write this review, as I do not want to write one based on immediate feedback.
The tutor is a nice person and would have a lot to offer in terms of language and support. During the 25 minute trial lesson, we spent 20 minutes exchanging information on objectives and personal matters.
It was the last 5 minutes that a lesson took place. It was just that the so-called teaching style was simply a mention of using slides. It was without an actual lesson, and this indicates the actual teaching trial would appear in a subsequent lesson.
Therefore, due to the lack of an actual lesson, it is difficult to determine whether the time and money are worth investing. Hopefully, in the future, the personal matter can simply be dealt with in the chat, and the actual lesson would not just be a description, but an actual one.

Sowod est un excellent professeur. Nous venons tout juste d'avoir notre première leçon de persan ; c'est vraiment agréable de discuter avec lui et d'apprendre plein de choses, au niveau de la langue et de la culture, sur son pays d'origine. Thank you so much, Sowod !
