Thanks so much for the lesson, it was fun! A lot of new words learned from context, a lot of cultural insights. Akhila is great at meeting my expectations as a learner - I asked her not to use English in class so she is using proper Malayalam, explaining the new words to me with easier ones, but staying in Malaylam - for full immersion - just what I need :) She also is a very open person which is super helpful when you don't only want to learn a language but also the culture.
