My name is Jasmine, and I am a born teacher. From Childhood, I have loved to teach people because helping people understand new things has always brought me great joy. It was only natural for me to pursue a career in teaching. I care deeply about people and animals. This is why I have been a volunteer worker since the age of eighteen. Volunteer work gives my life a sense of purpose and helps me to connect with people that I would not typically meet. In the future, I hope to expand my work with animals as a Canine Trainer and Groomer. I would like to open my own business: A Dog Daycare. My goal in life is to help as many people as possible; I think iTalki is the perfect way to do this. Last year, I qualified as a TEFL teacher with The TEFL Academy. As you have heard in my introduction video, I have tutored people in my neighbourhood since I turned eighteen. That means I have a total of 6 years teaching experience! I am a versatile teacher; I have taught people of all ages. I have good chemistry with young students because I have worked with kids for so long. However, I have also taught adults who desire to be life-long learners. I believe that they best teachers are the ones that display respect to their students. I really listen when people talk to me and I respond kindly.
