Bonjour! I’m Anaïs, a French tutor from Bordeaux (wine and cannelés, oui!) and vibrant culture 🍷
After a 3-year break teaching privately, I’m thrilled to return to Italki! A decade in the UK (hello, charming Harrogate!) I’m back to help you speak French—not just study it!
Specializing in conversational practice and tailored lessons, I bridge French fluency with real-life ease. Whether you’re learning for travel, art, or just joie de vivre, or for love (I’ve coached wedding vows!) let’s make it fun—à votre rythme (at your pace)!

I am fun, outgoing and will make sure you have fun during our lessons. From experience, at first the big majority of my students put too much pressure on themselves to learn French quickly, whether for work or as a hobby.
Unfortunately I don't have superpowers yet 🧚🏻♀️ but I'm here to improve your French, teach you new vocabulary, weird but used expressions, correct bad habits you picked up along the years and empower you.
You will notice during our lessons behind me on the wall a great art wall piece of a goldfish swimming, happy, with a shark dorsal fin 🦈 : "MINDSET IS EVERYTHING ". Well, I believe if you put your mind to it and you have fun doing it, you can reach any goal 💪🏻My lessons & teaching style
