I’m a friendly and patient Czech tutor that graduated art school (film) who enjoys creating funny stories to help you memorise new vocabulary and grammar.
I grew up in Prague and now I live in the Netherlands, where I work as an artist. I’m passionate about Czech culture, history and traditions and I’m looking forward to introducing you to them.

In my free time I enjoy many hobbies and I always try to learn something new. Although, my biggest hobbies are going to the gym, cooking, going to art museums, cafes, and watching films. I especially like old Czech films.

I’m a patient and energetic teacher who loves using humor, funny anecdotes, and real-life examples to make vocabulary stick. My goal is to make the lesson feel less like a class and more like chatting with a friend. I will tailor my lessons to your needs and interests, I’m also open for feedback and can adapt my lessons to benefit you more.
I’ve been active in language exchange for years and throughout that time I’ve helped several people to get more comfortable with speaking Czech. They went from using very simple sentences to having a 30 minute conversation.
*For absolute beginners I offer my class Zero to Czech Hero. (The class is taught in English.) My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are all about speaking, fun, and real-life practice! Whether you want to build confidence through free conversation, master everyday situations with role-play, or dive into Czech culture and traditions, I’m here to help. I focus on creating a safe space for you to make mistakes and slowly build up your confidence while using friendly humor, and applying plenty of repetition.
In my lessons I will help you with pronunciation tips and expressing yourself more naturally. After every lesson I’ll give you a list of vocabulary that we practiced during the lesson to work on your own time.

Lucie has a great energy. It is so easy to talk to her. Also I like that she types almost everything I say, makes the corrections and while doing this the talk is never interrupted, and at the end of the class I have metarials of my own speech. Very good idea. She is my favorite. Very much recommended!
