Hi, my name is Elizabeth! I live in the beautiful woods of Virginia, USA, and I love languages, teaching English, painting, outdoor adventures, and spending time with my family and my cat. I create lessons that are fun, practical, and tailored to each student, so you can learn English in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. I have been teaching English since 2022, and I truly enjoy helping students learn in a way that is both engaging and practical. My goal is to empower students to use English confidently in real-world situations, applying what they learn right away. I carefully customize each lesson to suit the needs, goals, and interests of every student, creating a supportive and motivating environment where learning is enjoyable and effective. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Liberty University, which allows me to combine solid academic knowledge with practical teaching experience. My lessons & teaching style
In each lesson, I always want to use things that will help students use what they learn. For this reason, we will use a lot of hands-on materials, like worksheets, role-plays, projects, and games to solidify understanding.
Here is an example lesson structure:
1. Warm-Up
Casual conversation to build confidence and review previous lessons.
2. Main Lesson
Focus on your goals (grammar, conversation, etc).
Hands-on activities like role-playing, games, or media discussions.
3. Practice & Application
Use what you’ve learned in conversations or writing tasks.
4. Feedback & Wrap-Up
Personalized feedback and suggestions.
