A big family makes you either a silent person going unnoticed, or loud and talkative like me.
I love talking to people, engaging in conversations and making friends which results into my love for learning and teaching new languages, which used to be "not my best". I failed Pashto language in 6th grade. Shocked, I asked myself why? "Is it really my fault or Pashto is too hard? Trying to prove I was not dumb and that I had failed just because the language was too hard, I changed my studying strategies. It was a miracle! The language became quite easy, and my new strategies led to not only good grades but also new, good friends! So here I am; fond of teaching and learning and teaching languagesMe as a Teacher
I have been working as an English language instructor for years. My objective is finding and designing the best strategy for my students based on their level, time and goal to prove learning a new language, specially Farsi Dari is not hard at all. The most important thing in my classes is having pleasant lessons. I believe the more seriously you take it, the harder it becomes to learn a new language. My students learn fast because they do not notice how much effort they put in since they do it in a pleasant way.My lessons & teaching style
I use and combine several methods including Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT), Blended Learning and Growing Participator Approach (GPA) to form a rewarding learning-teaching strategy. I concentrate on enabling students to start speaking with less grammatical complexity, engaging in conversations, telling and listening to stories.My teaching material

This is my first time to learn Dari/Farsi. Ms Atifa has been teaching me for several weeks. She is an excellent teacher. Her presentations are clear, with lots of examples and clarifications where necessary. From the outset I indicated that I was also interested to learn to read. Accordingly, Ms Atifa has been teaching me the writing system. As well, I expressed interest to learn the culture. Each week, she prepares a culture point to share. It is clear to me that Ms Atifa comes to class organized and well prepared. I highly recommend Ms Atifa as a Dari / Farsi language teacher.

This is my second lesson with Ms Atifa. Another great lesson. We learned the alphabet last week -- I had indicated that I wanted to learn to read Dari/ Farsi. We learned pronouns today. Very good and clear explanations. I look forward to the next lesson!

I had my first Dari lesson with Ms Atifa today, Excellent lesson and excellent teacher. She's very clear in her presentation and gives lots of examples which are very helpful. I look forward to many more lessons with Ms Atifa.
