I finished level 1 with Lisa! It was so fun and amazing. I learned how to speak way better this way with Lisa than I did on my own. She varies the techniques (question/answer, cartoons, quizzes, helps correct your HWs, and talks to you about your day/life in Chinese too!). Keeps me engaged and happy! Speaking practice makes all the difference! I am starting on the next level now! Wish me luck!!

I studied Mandarin in college and am very rusty, but she is very encouraging and will stop to address any grammar or pronunciations I am struggling with. We cover material that is easy to understand and discuss topics that are relevant to my life. I would definitely recommend taking her lessons!
