I have a CELTA certificate and a BA degree. I also have about six years of teaching experience. I teach levels from complete beginner to advanced and beyond, and I welcome students of any age, children and adults.My lessons & teaching style

CELTA - International House, Budapest - 2009We were require to teach for just under five hours, attend a number of theoretical and demo classes. We also had to write a number of essays and asses other teachers teaching.

Before the lesson, we agreed to focus on speaking and grammar, and I reiterated these goals at the start. However, the session primarily focused on a 30' vocabulary activity that felt too basic and didn’t align with my goals.
The material was repetitive, with questions often being re-asked which made the lesson feel disengaging and mechanical.
That said, Gareth was very kind and approachable. I hope this was just an off day.
