Hello! I’m Suhyeon, a Korean tutor currently studying at a graduate school in Seoul. I was born and raised in Korea, and I also lived in Canada for a year, which gave me the chance to experience different cultures and languages. I love exchanging languages and cultures, and I’ve been doing language and cultural exchanges with friends from various countries for a long time. Through these experiences, I became a Korean tutor, and I understand well the challenges that foreign friends face when learning Korean. I enjoy helping them overcome these difficulties and improve their Korean skills.

I have one year of in-person Korean teaching experience. During my university years, I also assisted exchange students with their Korean.

My lessons & teaching style

I believe that the best way to improve a language is by actually speaking it. That’s why in my classes, I’ll give you plenty of opportunities to speak Korean through role-plays based on real-life situations and conversations on various topics. I’ll also correct your mistakes right away so you can learn the kind of Korean that real native speakers use.
