Great lesson with Maggie! We started with some small talk. After that, we learned the story of 勾践 and watched a video about it. Then we talked about that history, and also about the attitude of 先苦后甜. I told Maggie that young people don't have that feeling (and why). I like the way that Maggie combines history with current events in her lesson!

Great lesson with Maggie! We started with small talk about the fall weather and world events. Maggie had a presentation that she showed another student about the Roman Empire, and I read it out loud, After that, Maggie gave a little background on the history of 春秋, and we watched a short video about that time period. It was a fun class and I learned more about Chinese history!
