Patient & Encouraging Mandarin Teacher | Kids & Beginners | 3000+ Lessons ✨ Hello! I'm Ting, a certified Mandarin teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, majoring in International Trade. Teaching Mandarin is my true passion. I’ve taught students from over 20 countries, from complete beginners and young kids to advanced learners. I love helping them not only learn but actually enjoy the language. If you want patient, warm and personalized lessons, you’re in the right place! 💡 Why we’ll make a great team: 💬 Real-life Chinese: I teach practical everyday spoken Mandarin, including casual and formal differences. I’m very patient with beginners and help advanced students build confidence. 👦👧 I understand kids: As a mom of a 9-year-old boy, I make lessons fun and engaging, like games for children. 🌍 I know the struggle: With 10 years in international trade, and currently improving my English (B2) and learning Spanish (A2), I understand how hard it can be. Mistakes are welcome here! 📝 Tailored for you: I adjust lessons to your strengths and needs. After class I’ll send personalized review notes. 🏡 Beyond the classroom: I enjoy badminton and yoga. At home I love building LEGO with my son, doing puzzles and watching mystery movies. We also have a leopard gecko and a turtle! 🦎🐢 I’m here to support you and your family. Let’s start this fun and relaxed Mandarin journey together!

Ting is great at keeping things in Chinese - encouraging me to find new ways to explain my meaning when I'm lost for words. Each class is challenging and rewarding.
