Maura Tisoy

i appreciated that Maura came to my lesson prepared to teach me phrases about which I was curious, and I learned even more. We were supposed to cover three themes, and we got through one in my hour-long lesson. So, we have enough material for two future lessons now.

I have taken two lessons with Maura and have enjoyed both immensely. She seems very focused on listening, taking notes during our sessions, with pencil even. After our first session, I was impressed with how she summarized our session and identified content/themes for future classes. She wants to do well by the student.

Maura has a very pleasant way of teaching making the class with her like a conversation one can enjoy, while learning new things. I'm looking forward to our next class together!

I was able to practice reading and comprehension. I also learned how to use connectors in sentences. I happy that the professor is so patient with me and explains materials in a way that is easy to understand. I highly recommend this professor to anyone wanting to improve their Spanish speaking, and comprehension abilities.
