Hello there Arabic Learners! If you're an absolute beginner but hesitating to kick start learning Arabic, no worries, because starting easy and simple with basics will definitely break the ice. It's just about time. If you have a good grasp on the language but want to strengthen it even more, we could have normal conversations with a particular topic for each session. Take your time and feel comfortable to express yourself because I'll give you my notices only in the last 10 minutes. feel free during the session to ask any question you'd like a clear answer for. Other details would be addressed when we meet :) good luck

Mohammed is an extremely helpful and talented teacher who is always willing to review work or answer questions outside of class time. He is incredibly knowledgeable about MSA grammar and uses a great combination of explanations and examples. I would highly recommend him!

Arabisch, so sagt man, ist eine sehr schwierige Sprache. Mit Muhammad als Lehrer und Gesprächspartner macht man aber trotzdem recht mühelos Fortschritte. Seit etwa 2.5 Monaten machen wir jede Woche eine Stunde. Mein Wortschatz wird immer grösser, Verben sind kein Problem mehr, und Sprechen wird immer einfacher. Ich bin kein Sprachtalent, um so mehr freue ich mich solche Fortschritte zu spüren.

Today was another helpful and engaging lesson with Mohammed. We talked in Arabic about current events for about half of the lesson, and then continued with the text we have been reading, an interesting short story set in Jordan. Mohammed takes diligent notes on new words he teaches me throughout the lesson (including the vowels), which over time has built up the added resource of a big compendium of vocab words I didn't know before as well as other insights into language and grammar.

As usual, today's lesson with Mohammed was great. We mainly just had a conversation, pausing sometimes for Mohammed to explain a new word I hadn't know before. I appreciate Mohammed's patience, depth of knowledge, and attention to detail when addressing grammatical mistakes or explaining a pattern in the language.

Today's lesson was another great chance to improve my Arabic skills through conversation and reading. This two-part approach that Mohammed uses is great for identifying and filling gaps in my knowledge. Some new words/phrases I learned today included بتخطر على بالو (to pop into one's mind [eg ideas, questions]), أنصدم (shocked), and طاقة (energy).

Another great lesson with Mohammed today. We talked about a wide range of topics and continued reading an engaging story set in Jordan. Some new words and phrases I learned included عَقليتي (my mentality), هَدف (goal/target), and مُعْجِزِة (miracle).
