Kyoko | UK

I've now taken 25 lessons with Kyoko! She brings her own materials and has plenty of ideas for things to work on, but she's also completely open if you want to do something specific. She's good at explaining things in English, creating a structured plan for you (if that's what you want), and she gives you a .pdf of the lesson materials after the lesson. I have several teachers that I use for different things on iTalki, but I recommend Kyoko if you need to build a solid foundation. She's extremely friendly and patient, so she'd be a good fit if you're a little nervous about speaking. Great teacher and a nice person to talk to :)

we had fun talking about time. Kyoko sensei was motivating me when I made mistakes and supportive at all times.

It was a fun lesson today. We talked about culture and exchanged some of the words of pastry typical for our countries. We also talked about ways of transportation in our home environment. I learned about conjugation and we practiced a conversation from the textbook. Kyoko sensei was very encouraging in her way of teaching. Arigato gozaimasu!

Kyoko is encouraging and helped me with the conversation. She has patience and is willing to answer questions. We now are pacticing verbs, in this case 'iku'. I do notice progression and more confidence, thanks to the way she teaches.
