I am a native Japanese born in Yokohama, south of Tokyo, currently living in Geneva, Switzerland. I am fluent in both English and Japanese and I plan to teach in both languages during my Japanese lessons.
For beginners, I find it best to start with basic grammar and vocabulary. For intermediate level and above, it depends on your preferences; we can focus on conversation or working on the JLPT exam, reading news articles together, etc.Me as a Teacher
I am a certified Japanese tutor and have 7 years’ experience working as a program coordinator for technical trainees, nurses and caregivers from East Asian countries. I teach not only the Japanese language but also Japanese corporate culture.

I have:
- Over 7 years’ experience giving Japanese lessons
- Worked with children, adults, business professionals, foreign technical trainees, nurses and caregivers from East Asian countries
- I use “Genki” or “Minna no Nihongo” as the textbook for beginners, but an important part of our lesson is to encourage you speak.
- For young learners, I use kawaii (cute) puppets in the lesson. The textbooks are specially designed for children, featuring many adorable illustrations, making it an enjoyable experience for them. I also have a Japanese childcare work licence.
