Thank you for another great lesson Misako- San!!! I'm glad to have started the year off strong ! Thank you for sharing more in depth cultural information about Japan such as: What people do with bad luck fortune teller scripts or the different traditional foods that are eaten for New Years. Thank you for always providing a comfortable and laid back conversational environment, this lesson I felt especially confident in my speaking. I may not have been 100% but you were able to support me to find the right words that I needed. I'm looking forward to another great year of conversations! As a long time student I highly recommend Misako-San, she is very thorough with how she explains things and I always feel satisfied with her answers to any of the questions that I have. Misako-San has been very fun, supportive, patient, humorous, informative throughout our various lessons. Thank you for being such a positive influence on my Japanese journey!

I've been taking weekly lessons with Misako-sensei and she is honestly one of the best teachers I have met on iTalki! Her strength is in teaching you tons of natural/useful phrases and correcting mistakes (which some teachers may be less comfortable doing since they feel it's impolite). For some reason, her explanations and speaking pace just make things so easy to understand and remember. She also sends the most detailed lesson notes of any teacher I've had, which are super useful for reviewing/recall. If you are serious about accelerating your time to fluency, I recommend learning from Misako-sensei!

Misako was very accommodating in scheduling the class just a day in advance. While being aware of the various mistakes I made, she has always been kind and clear in explaining to me both in Japanese and with examples in English.

Misako is very patient and supportive of your language learning, I have learned more with my short time under her tutelage than other teachers I have had. Her camera and microphone quality is good, there are no connection issues, she has always been on time and prepared material for the next lesson. She answers questions I have and helps me to learn how to discuss my interests in Japanese preparing me for conversing with others. She has also made several lessons fun and engaging one of which used a topic I was interested in as a means of learning the vocabulary I was studying. As a beginner I heavily recommend Misako sensei if you are just starting out like me, but I have confidence she will be good for all levels.

I will share my thoughts after 5 months of classes with misako-san. A typical class is a 1-hour discussion about just any topic, with strong help from Misako to get your pronunciation just right and most importantly as natural as possible for a native Japanese speaker. At the end of each session she will send a great set of notes on each and every sentence you said/learned during the session so that you can review it at your pace to learn as much knowledge as possible. She is also one of the nicest, most peaceful person I have met in years, and exchanging in the classroom with her is extremely easy because she interacts in a way that puts you at ease and apprehension go away 100%. I can confidently say that she is the best language teacher I've had the chance to meet.

Today's lesson was absolutely amazing!! Misako-san truly has a talented way of explaining concepts into a simple easy to understand manner. Sometimes, textbooks tend to under explain or overcomplicate the nuance behind certain grammar/words/phrases. Misako-san has been great at filling those gaps that I encounter during my studies. I also appreciate the fun conversation that we have along the way too. I look forward to our next lesson!
