My name is Mikiko☀️. I'm from Saitama Prefecture, right next to Tokyo. People say I have a cheerful and easygoing personality. I love traveling abroad and enjoying delicious food. After completing my studies in a Japanese language teacher training course, I'm currently working as a freelance Japanese language teacher. Qualified with Japanese Language Teacher Training Course completion Over 1000 hours of online lesson experience Speaks English and Indonesian I constantly reflect on my students and lessons, always considering how to provide better instruction. Using all my available resources, I will be your dedicated companion in your Japanese learning journey.

Me as a Teacher

I became a Japanese teacher because I wanted the freedom to live a nomadic lifestyle. I don’t like the cold, so every winter I spend a month in Bali, Indonesia to recharge and work from the warmth. I teach Japanese professionally and thoroughly, but I see the learners I meet not just as students — I see them as fellow Earthlings. Certified teacher who have gained over 2000 hours of experience as an online tutor. My lessons & teaching style

Instant Lessons: I offer conversation practice. Let's have practical conversations. For beginners, I'll provide support in English. I'll also record points and mistakes in the chat so you can review and study them later on your own. I'm looking forward to talking with you! Regular Lessons: Mastering Hiragana and Katakana and practicing them ✍️ Understanding basic grammar and sentence structure Learning essential expressions and phrases for daily life Practical conversation exercises and advice. After about 25-30 lessons, you'll gradually be able to express what you want to say. Express yourself in Japanese.
