I'm Chiho from Gifu, Japan!
I used to live in Australia on working holiday.
In my lessons, I focus on:

Since I’m also a language learner (I'm studying English!), I truly understand the feelings of "I don't understand," "I can't speak," or "I’m not confident."

I currently teach Japanese to learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced.
I also support students preparing for the JLPT!
In Japan, I worked as a registered nurse for five years, where I developed strong communication and teaching skills through mentoring junior staff.
Although I do not have formal experience in an educational institution, I have hands-on, practical teaching experience.
I am also learning English myself, so I fully understand the challenges, frustrations, and joys of learning a new language.
Because of this, I always aim to create a safe, supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking and asking questions.My lessons & teaching style

I always enjoy my lessons with Chiho! She is very friendly and always makes the conversation at a level I can understand. I also learn new words and phrases in every lesson! I highly recommend taking lessons with her!

Thank you for another great lesson. Chiho is a very kind and patient teacher. She is great at making the conversation fun and interesting and always does a great job in explaining any new words or grammar points I am unsure of. I look forward to the next lesson!
