Born in Germany and now based in Cyprus, I’m a university-certified translator (English/French/Spanish) who loves sharing my mother tongue German and English, the language I exclusively speak in my new home country with learners worldwide. My multilingual background enables me to make sure that communication with the student is safe. Even if your German or English are still in the early stages, we can resort to one of the other languages I and you speak and make sure that meta-communication (talking about what we do in the lesson) is working.Me as a Teacher
I worked as a tutor and language teacher for two years while being in Germany.
On Cyprus I started working as an online tutor and have worked on two online platforms before starting on italki.
I hold a BA in Translation with English as major and Spanish and French as minors, so I have a good background for teaching students who have those languages as native languages.My lessons & teaching style
I like to tailor my lessons according to the goals that the student has in the target language. I have taught business English extensively and know how to address the weak areas of students so they can improve according to the situation that is posing a challenge to them: job interviews, presentations, product launches etc.My teaching material
