I'm Chiara and I will help you build confidence from the very first lesson, with real conversations and grammar in context.
I’m a native Italian tutor with a Master's degree in Philosophy with a specialization in the History of Education and I’m into culture, current issues and critical thinking. I’m a language learner myself and I understand how challenging – but rewarding – it can be to learn a new language.
I focus my lessons on conversations, grammar learnt by context and listening.Me as a Teacher
My lessons take place in a very friendly environment where mistakes are more than welcomed. Lessons are tailored to your needs and personality and are followed by notes on progress, corrections and suggestions for self-study between lessons.
I will help you understand, speak and – at the end – think or maybe even dream in Italian.

My lessons use a learn-by-doing method and are focused on conversation from the very beginning.
Beginners and pre-intermediate learners: we learn Italian grammar through context (reading, listening) and we start speaking right away with simple guided conversations. I submit to you simple exercises to build accuracy and confidence and I give you advice to improve also outside the class.
Intermediate and advanced learners: I focus my lessons on conversations, role-plays and topics of interest of my students. We refine grammar, expand vocabulary and work on accuracy and fluency. I correct when needed, take notes for you and focus on grammar topics that you need to revise when and if needed.My teaching material
