Certified ESL Teacher – Practical Fluency & Speaking for Adults & Kids Hey there, I’m Alex and I'm from the U.S. I’ve spent the last eight years teaching English in China, Spain, and now online. My years abroad have been some of the most meaningful experiences of my life, and they’ve shaped how I connect with my students and with others. At my core, I’ve always been and still am a traveler and history lover who enjoys discovering new places and learning about the world. My number one priority as your teacher is creating a comfortable and supported space to practice spoken English. I know what it’s like to learn a new language and freeze up because I didn't get enough speaking practice with foreign languages myself. Lessons with me are always relaxed, friendly, and centered on you, your level, your pace, and your goals. We’ll focus on whatever you want to improve and on what helps you feel comfortable and confident when speaking. I like to base our classes on real-life conversations, where we build vocabulary and fluency in a natural way. I’ll also help you strenghten your pronunciation and grammar as we talk.
