Certified Linguist and DaF Instructor here to help you to improve your German! I studied Linguistics and Media Studies and currently working as a German teacher in different institutions, since I also got the supplementary qualification in "German as a Foreign Language" to professionally support non-native speakers on their long journey with the German language. I immigrated at a young age and grew up bilingual, therefore I have a valuable perspective from both sides and would like to use my language skills to help learners of German with the challenges that come with this beautiful, but also demanding language. The same goes for Spanish! The best way to learn a language will always be to speak it! As a student I've worked in my university department and taught the basics of linguistics in small group seminars to students there. In terms of German teaching I've helped out in a language school for adolescents in Cambridge, England and I have been working in public and private institutions like the university or DAA. My teaching is based on the intercultural model of language instruction. Speaking, writing and insights into the culture are my top priorities, combined with traditional grammar exercises if desired.
